Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Perform internal audits and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, cost accounting, and auditing principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
