Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for federal and commercial clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Ensure DCAA compliance for government contracts
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP standards
Qualifications
- CPA license required (active)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in federal contract accounting (DCAA/FAR)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred)
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
