Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and regulatory filings
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain SOX compliance documentation and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in tech/fintech
- Expert proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines in high-volume environments
