Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closing
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit support
