Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and audits.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management for budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or equivalent experience is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
