Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Assist the finance team with budget preparation and financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero (mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (Bachelor's degree a plus).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
