Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide support for monthly forecasting and long-term planning.
- Ensure accurate tax compliance and preparation for federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
