Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Payroll Management: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring tax withholdings are accurate and timely.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Budgeting: Support the budget preparation process and assist in forecasting financial performance.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
