Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update general ledgers using accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Process payroll transactions and employee expense reports.
- Organize and file financial documentation for audit purposes.
- Assist senior accountants with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus but not required (we provide training).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation (for occasional filing or client meetings).
