Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate all necessary documentation.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to the CFO on financial performance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and current tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
