Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and returns.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with the finance department to streamline budgeting and forecasting procedures.
- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
