Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Support the budgeting process by analyzing variances and providing financial insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or eligibility is highly preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
