The Role:
You will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy against purchase orders and contracts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and distribute payments via wire transfer and ACH.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and generate financial reports.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Perform month-end accruals and account analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
