Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and facilitate external audits.
- Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
