Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&Ls.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
