Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of all journal entries and reconciling accounts (AP/AR).
- Compliance & Audits: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate tax withholdings and deductions.
- Cost Accounting: Analyze cost centers and assist in budget preparation to support the company's financial health.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement modern solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
