Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 10-15 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven remote work experience with self-management skills
