Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inter-company transactions.
- Prepare and analyze variance analysis reports to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and support month-end close activities with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.
- Prepare supporting schedules for external audit requirements and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
