Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and answering inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards and savings accounts.
- Assist in balancing cash drawers and reconciling daily transactions.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and secure teller workstation.
- Identify and escalate potential security issues or compliance concerns.
- Collaborate with branch management to meet daily sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling and retail banking experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
