Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Oversee VAT compliance and tax filings for UK operations
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for key business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and process optimization
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and implement automated accounting workflows using cloud-based systems
- Prepare management accounts and board-level financial presentations
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience in multinational financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for remote stakeholder management
- Experience implementing ERP systems in hybrid environments
