Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and oversee the month-end close process efficiently.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for executive review.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Perform internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in advanced accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
