Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Lead reconciliation activities for balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Develop and maintain internal controls for compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct audits and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and SAP
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (CA/FL focus)
- Proven ability to lead complex financial projects
