- General Ledger Management: Oversee the daily reconciliation of accounts and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processing and ensure all statutory deductions are calculated correctly.
- Compliance: Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure the company remains fully compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and implement robust internal controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related programme.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a remote environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex financial data.
