Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent communication skills.
