Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain robust internal controls
- Conduct financial audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and maintain organized audit trails
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with multi-company consolidations
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end/quarter-end close processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
- Experience in remote work environments with demonstrated self-discipline
