Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations while maintaining audit-ready records
- Develop and implement financial controls to minimize risk and optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with department heads on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
