In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our financial health, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and operational reports for management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial data for external audits and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
