We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our elite finance team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Manage general ledger functions, including account reconciliation and financial close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on budget-to-actual performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
- Perform internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
