Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and management reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews and compliance checks
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote and on-site teams
