Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform accurate monthly and annual closings.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Assist with external audits and implement robust internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
