Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic, remote-first finance team based in the United Kingdom. In this strategic role, you will oversee financial reporting, ensure strict compliance with UK GAAP standards, and provide critical insights to drive business performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Close: Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
- Reconciliation: Perform high-level bank reconciliations and intercompany account settlements.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, and ensure adherence to UK tax regulations.
- Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Qualifications: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and ERP systems.
- Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
