Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and tax computations.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal financial controls.
- Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records in our cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
Qualifications
- Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a UK accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
