Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to the finance leadership team.
- Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and assist with the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) are mandatory.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
