Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Advanced expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
