Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation processes under the guidance of senior management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Process payroll and ensure full compliance with local and federal labor laws.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely filing of necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
