Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-month and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and inter-company eliminations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
