Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy and strict adherence to GAAP.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, timely, and supported by proper documentation.
- Compliance & Auditing: Oversee internal and external audit requirements, ensuring all regulatory filings are submitted correctly and on schedule.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and assist in long-term financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor cash flow, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate billing and collections.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Remote Readiness: Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
