Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of internal controls and budgeting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
