Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
