Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems and processes
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and compliance reviews
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate financial records in cloud accounting platforms (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with remote work tools and asynchronous communication
- Excellent written communication skills for financial reporting and documentation
