Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and implement internal controls for financial integrity
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and improve operational efficiency
- Support external audits and provide financial documentation as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Proven track record in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
- Excellent communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
