Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and assist with external audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a major plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
