Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger (GL) accounting operations, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
