Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate documentation for external audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
