Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for CPA partners
- Implement financial controls to prevent errors and fraud
- Train junior bookkeepers on standardized procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or Paychex)
