Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct financial audits and provide process improvement recommendations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow analysis
- Prepare regulatory filings and tax compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven leadership experience in financial process optimization
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
