Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and compliance for S-Corporations and partnerships
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflow efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessment procedures
- Mentor junior accountants on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in managing multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage a plus)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
