Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance for state-specific requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state accounting regulations
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities
