Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial statements and reconciliations for diverse clients
- Prepare and analyze complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership)
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Lead client consultations on financial optimization strategies
- Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, and ERP systems for data processing
- Conduct forensic accounting audits for risk assessment
- Collaborate with senior analysts on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Expertise in US GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax filings (VA/NC focus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
