Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and variance reports for management review.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
